All that excess skin…
If you succeed in weight loss, you may come across a new, unexpected issue: loose skin. It’s not pretty, and it’s prone to irritation and breakdown. Getting rid of that extra tissue may be as hard as losing weight. But remember, you already proved that impossible is nothing!
Loose skin after losing weight is an effect of collagen and elastin destruction. The longer you were overweight, the harder it may be to fix the excess skin problem. But there are some remedies. You can try them at home.
The easiest and most common way is using firming creams containing collagen and elastin, however it probably won’t give you any lasting effects. The best way to deal with the problem is resistance training and taking collagen. The change may take time, but it’s worth it. You should also remember about drinking a lot of water and including important ingredients in your diet, such as proteins, vitamin C. and omega-3 fatty acids.
There are cases when home methods are not enough. In such cases, the last resort may be medical treatment. The most invasive way to tighten skin is body-contouring surgery. Before doing that, it’s worth giving a try to safer procedures – ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments.

Ultrasound treatment helped me a lot. I don’t think I’d go for surgery.

Balms make skin nice and soft immediately which is nice. I never tied resistance training but I do jogging every day and it helped with saggy skin too.
